Episode 3: Coronado

Episode three is now posted. This episode covers the Coronado Mustang football team. I interviewed Kolby Walker, Landon Quigley and Stephen Snyder. All three guys were fun to speak with and loved talking about their team. A lot of information was given about the team and its history, however, somewhere at the halfway mark of recording, mic 2 cut out. I am still happy with the end result. As you will be able to tell from listening to the podcasts, there is a bitter rivalry between Coronado and Monterey, who just so happen to play each other on Friday. I am hoping that the trash talk in this podcast will get some people listening and commenting.

This episode was pretty entertaining. The audio got really low in the middle but not too long. Some of the things the guys were saying was just for fun and I would cut a little of that out next time. I liked that you have several people's input on this one and it sounds like you guys were having fun. Good job.

very funny. you asked great questions in your interviews and really allowed the players/athletes to show their personality on-air. for the record, the best part is when that guy says "yeah that's not my girlfriend, but i told her i'd give her a shoutout." haha anyways, nice job. look forward to more.

I liked the interview with the Coronado wide receivers. The guys really made the interview interesting because they started calling out the other schools. The questions and responses were clear and easy to comprehend. Great job overall man.

I’m not a big fan of football, but your podcast got me interested in seeing this game. You did a good job picking your interviewees; it was fun to listen to. Bad luck I guess with the mic, but good interview overall.

LOL! nice job with this one Zach! I liked the casualness of it and how the guys got to be themselves. I also noticed the sound difficulties, I have those too but otherwise, a great project!

It was entertaining and funny. Which can be good and bad because at times it felt really unprofessional and casual. The sound jumped around a little bit in terms of volume. The information was good and it was a unique way to stir up a rivalry.

Great job. I love the rivalry and how "real" the interviews were with the players. It was entertaining, maybe b/c I know a little about HS football here in Lubbcok, but overall, very effective. The only thing, as you already know, is the audio fluctuation. Just clean that up a little.
