Well this week I interviewed Josh Klemme and Brock Carson from the Lubbock High School football team. I enjoyed the interview and both players made good conversation. The Westerners aren't having their best season with a 2-7, 1-2 record, but they do show promising things each week. To keep everyone updated, the Westerners beat Monterey 16-14 in the game for the Spurs. So after a five year hiatus, the spurs are finally back at Lubbock High. I spoke with Josh and Brock about several different parts of their game. In this podcast, we discuss the captain's role, the spread offense, as well as a bullnose defense.
From a production standpoint, this is my favorite podcast. I used the ipod mic for my interview and to my surprise, the quality was pretty good. FINALLY, I fixed my audio problems which is a good thing.
I am undecisive if I should interview Monterey next week or Estacado. I plan on using the Estacado game as my next video podcast.

Nice intro...good energy and really sounds like a professional intro! I noticed right off the embedded music. I like this a lot. i was really glad to see this podcast was on lubbock high because I lifeguard at the y and while i was working a lockin the other, a couple of players from there were talking about the season and which teams in Lubbock were doing well. After listening to the podcast I feel like I know a lot about high school football in Lubbock. Your series has definitely enthused my interest. your questions were really great also. good job.
The audio was pretty loud to begin with, you might want to lower it. Once the interview started I noticed the band music in the background, that was a nice touch. Some of the schedule info you had at the end of the podcast you might consider adding to the blog as well. There was some overlap of your voice towards the end of the podcast, but that should be easy to fix.
Great information and interviews from the football players. I enjoyed this podcast, once again, and all the rivalry involved. The audio was a little loud, but a overall, very effective.

Dude you almost blew out my eardrums during the intro! You really might want to look at lowering that volume next time around, so I don't fail my flight physical.
Other than the volume issue, which may have been Mac-related, you've done a great job crafting an informative and entertaining episode. You have some good energy and it comes through. Well done.
