My second podcast is now available. This week I decided to cover Frenship High School. Frensip is located on the west side of Lubbock. I chose to cover Frenship for a few reasons. First, it is my alma mater and I have several connections with the school and athletes. Also, they are traditionally one of the better teams in the area.
As you will notice, the podcast is video. I ran into a few problems with the video, mainly when it came to editing. The software at my home was unable to support dual video lines and consequently resulted in me having to leave out my game footage. Other than that one problem, everything went smoothly.
In this podcast I interview Trey Whaley and Nick Hanslik. Both athletes were more than happy to be in a podcast. I hope that they will use their excitement to spread the word about my podcast so I can gain an audience.
Next week I will have another team from the area. I am deciding between Coronado or Cooper. Check back to find out who will be covered.

Hey man, nice job! I like the video. Good idea to catch both inside interview and then move it outside to set the football mood. "Frensip" is misspelled on your blog. Like you said, just a few editing problems with the video. I like the 2nd angle. I noticed the audio was only oh the left and not stereo. Overall, nice job
Excellent! The interviews were very good and you had a lot of good conversation and transition talk. Some of the editing was a little rough but, I really, really liked your ending and the way you faded it to black and white with the music. Great job!!
I liked the talk show type interview with you sitting down and having a conversation with the athletes. If theres any way to get the text off of the screen during your interview I would try to do that. The conclusion was great and I liked how you still had you guys talking in the background with the music coming in. I actually thought the editing was pretty good. Great job.
Nice video podcast. Very interesting subject. I like the intro and outro music. The interview was great because the players got to interact with you on camera. Once again, good work on the podcast & i hope to hear more on west tx football in the future.
It's hard to do a video interview and not have it look a little choppy during an edit. You did a great job with the content though, and your podcast was very professional, except for that one segment we talked about. Well done amigo.

great video. i liked how you set up the interview. maybe introduce the episode in the beginning of the podcast by just talking to the camera yourself before the athletes come in to talk with you. other than that, reallly good.
