I mixed things up just a little bit this week. Seeing to it as high school football is now two weeks into the playoffs, I am having to repeat a team profile. Rather than just previewing the team again, I chose a player to profile.
I spoke with Michael Connor this week of the Frenship Tigers. He is the running back, and I kid you not, one of the most talented athletes I have seen play at the high school level. Michael is a three year letterman who has ran for over 6,000 career yards. No, thats not a mistake. He has really ran for 6,000 plus yards. He also has 85 career touchdowns. Among other great things he is doing, his team is still in the playoffs.
Frenship plays Aledo on Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Wichita Falls, Texas. Listen to the podcast to find out more about Michael and the Tigers.
Production wise, this was a fun podcast to make because of the interview. I recorded it using the mic on my mac. The sound quality isn't bad either. I once again used the high school band music in the background. I only had one song, so I thought it might get repetitive, but maybe not.

Nice idea to profile a player since your running low on teams and the playoffs. I like the embeded music especially since it is the school's fight music! Good creative thoughts. I thought the audio turned out great, I really like the mics on the Mac, they take in some great sounding stuff. The interview kid seemed calmed and relaxed and a great interview! Seems to be your best podcast yet. Good job
Nice idea doing a personality profile type of podcast since the season is winding down. I thought the audio sounded as good as it has ever been. I know I used the mic on my mac for all of my podcasts and its pretty good quality. Great questions during the interview and very interesting. Nice job.
